Description
Zamioculcas zamiifolia stores water in thick rhizomes underground, which is why it shrugs off neglect. Low to medium indirect light is fine; it will grow faster in brighter spots. Water every 2 to 3 weeks, less in winter. Glossy waxy leaves stay clean-looking with minimal effort. Beginner. Mildly toxic to pets if chewed, so worth knowing if you have a curious cat.
